Study of Duets in flight: my Picasso Doves

Print Friendly

In studying the duet phase of my composition, I realized I have some insight.

I have a grad student whose thesis is all about double improvisations among jazz tenor saxophone greats.

In his research he exposed me to communication theory, which I found very interesting.

I am interested in writing what may be a near-jazz improvisation for the doves’ dance and song in the sky…..
