A Real Start

The study of bird swarms, and the interest in Picasso have led to a real start. It is my hope that this blog will chronicle the growth and development of this work, tentatively titled Casa Picasso. The idea came to me of a distant bird incredibly high descending alone, to be joined by another in a duet dance in the sky. More join in a group dance, and more until a swarm develops, awakening more slumbering from beneath.

I began to search for verbs for birds.

Birds float, dive, flutter, soar, dart, climb,
each of these is a specific kind of music, too.
Interpret individually.

I have several ideas, most get thrown away, but today I settled on an idea to begin, with a pppp piccolo.
